I would like to suggest a really easy program for creating you own gifs.

Easy Gif Animator

 

Does anyone have already some experiences with running animated gif's with Vista ??

I'm unable to get them started with Vista, whereas they were doing just fine with XP.

Any help/advice will be much appreciated.

 

  Oddly enough I never tried saving an animated GIF to my Vista OS. So, I just did… Clicking the file opens it in IE and it animates perfectly. If it doesn’t automatically do this for you, I suggest right clicking the GIF file and viewing the properties, then change the “opens with” to your web browser.

  Unless you mean no animated GIF’s are working for you, then that might take some looking into.

Depending on at what stage you're encountering problems, you might need to download an upgrade of Ulead Gif Animator upgrading it to version 5.0.5.  (5.0 didn't include Vista, but 5.0.5. does).

It might also be browser related. I'm using Opera 9.2 and had problems as well; (with IE7 all OK) after getting the 5.0.5. upgrade with O 9.2 OK as well.

Just Google ulead gif animator vista and you'll find a lot of download-centers (incl.some in your area) a.w.a. techn.tips.
