Same here, I'm getting "Not Found: Forum Not Found" while trying to login with my username guayas. Hope somebody can help me out.

Hi! guayas here, sorry for the trouble but it's happening again and it's not even a month since the last time. I've already reported it via email with no luck.

If there's something I can do to avoid this from happenning in the future please let me know cause it's really anoying.

I'm just asking the questions because I'd really like to know.

Is my account "flagged?" Am I being "watched" by the moderators for some reason?

I've noticed that no matter how many times I post in a single day, my name NEVER appears in the "Most Active Users" box. It's not that being in that box means a great deal to me, but when I post more than others there and my name still doesn't show, it serves as an indication that something is amiss.

Secondly, I made a post in the "Kinga" thread in which I identified her at another site, and the post just disappeared. Gone. Like it never existed. Why? If there was a disagreement, then wouldn't it have been better to leave the post there and dispute it, leave it open to dialogue and discussion?

I understand that when I originally set up this account, there was some concern over the screen name I chose, and it was changed.

Am I still "paying" for that?

It seems it is important for you...   It's just a matter of your profile-settings (edit profile)  I've changed it for you.

That post was removed by me because it was a repost.  Also a matter of profile-settings.  If you allow to receive e-mails you'll get a notice by e-mail why a post was deleted and by which moderator.

Should be OK now.

I just wanna know one thing yeah. I'm not a techno expert when it comes to servers and such, but if your computer has a virus, could you infect the forum servers with it? Stupid question I know, the answear is gonna come back as "NO YOU CAN'T" but still I want to be 100% certain on this.

Not a stupid question at all. We've tried to prepare for that by disallowing posting certain file types as an attachment... so attacments are ok. FTP-site for Peachy, for example, was closed down some years ago to cut down the risks like those.

However, we can never know if some crackers have targetted PeachyForum and made some specific virus... even I think it's unlikely. Luckily all the crackers are horny SOB:s so I'm sure they'd rather nuke political pages. Let's just hope so. :)

But when we'll become bigger then MySpace, we should get prepared for things like those.

Can someone please have a look at my regular account Foggy Notion. After having some problems I can now no longer sign in (invalid user credentials or something like that) . I tried creating a new account Foggy Notion Too but that is not working now either, same problem, so I'm on my third account this week, God knows how long this one will last.

I don't know WTF is going on, but I have just had to join again (my 4th ID this week) in order to post here. My original account of Foggy Notion (seperate words) seems to have been replaced now with FoggyNotion (all one word), but I still can't sign in to it. Can someone please send a PM to this latest ID to explain what is happening here, do I need a new password now or should my original one be working? I've had no communication about this so I don't really know what is going on.

Because there are different IP's and e-mail addresses you should use the "I forgot my password"-function for identification-purposes to obtain a new password, sothat we are sure that we are dealing with same user.

I'm having the exact same problem as FoggyNotion. First it was "Not Found: Forum Not Found" & now "Invalid user credentials" while trying to sign in. My first account guayas had been restored by Funky several times before but it works for a couple of days and then it crashes again. The last time I couldn't even upload an avatar before it was blocked so I decided to create a new account and then I guess it was kind of merged with my first one (which was already blocked) so it's like an endless situation. I've tried the password change but the email never comes in and there's no other way to report it but creating a new account & posting here.

 I really like the forum & appreciate all the hard work done by the staff, but it's been frustrating trying to stay in here for me lately. Maybe it would be very helpful to create a tool for reporting this kind of issues w/o creating new useless accounts. Just an idea.

IMO the password recovery is not the solution to this problem. I have already tried this and no email ever arrives, as guayas has already said. If you look back in this thread other people have said the same thing before.

Every time I return to this forum the account I have just created has been (automatically?) merged with my old account which I no longer have access to, leaving me no alternative but to join again. Why can I not just use this new account until the problem with my old one has been resolved, ie - don't merge it with my old account, I can no longer use that.
