I would not remove it entirely. I would put it on a slightly hidden place. If I want to help people with their requests "My Discussions" is often the only way for me, to find a girl again, when there is no specific information or a name, or I can't remember the name, wich can be used for search. Well, I can look for "mrspocks posts", but this list is a lot bigger.

As Sob already said in new features thread. Make it possible to sort threads by last post in favorites, mark threads with unread posts in some way, move initially the threads from"My Discussions" to favorites and you have won. To bury "My Discussions" on a place where people need many clicks from main page to find it, no previews in it and deleting any new bookmarking posts without warning might help to wean people from it. But removing is not a good idea IMO.

Apropos caching: Very often existing previews pictures get not shown. Automatically generated ones are affected and the ones submitted with peachycropper, the former more than the latter IMO.  For e.g. http://peachyforum.com/tags/cum/default.aspx shows currenty no preview  for creamy cum thread, but I know there is one, I've never seen more than three of the four previews for this tag. I can currently see only one preview for http://peachyforum.com/tags/early+met-art/default.aspx, but I've checked with preview thumbnail ckecker that there should be a lot more.

Well, it's not a serious problem, I'm happy too have tags, I just wanted to inform you.

I used the search, I went through all pages of theme requests and searched for "garter", but found nothing. Unfortunately I didn't save a link of this thread, thus I have no thread-id. When did you join the theme archives and request theme? Did it probably happen during this process?

New problems regarding tags since you removed them form main page.

• You can't get all tags anymore, only the popular tags.

• When you click on a tag it doesn't show related tags anymore.
  

Just found out that favorites hava a limited capacity. If you have to much favorites, the latter are not shown.

Yeps, I noticed the problem as well. I didn't remove it from the main page, it seems that the forum engine is just getting too slow parsing through all the tags and therefore cannot show results. At the moment it can handle only the scope of 1 forum... and all instances of one tag.

Damn, and I thought we don't even have many tags yet...

I think I'll keep that artificial limit of 100 since if there would be just 10 000 people with 500+ favorites, that would make... 5 million new records for the database to handle. But let's see after a while, what feature gets extended, what disabled.

I have no inside knowledge about how CS implemented tags. May it help and is it possible to leave tags cloud only for main page? As far as I can see the scope of tags can't be limited to a forum, so it would'nt be a great loss to have it only on main page.

Well, I thought it would be just a bit tweaking for you to make sorting by date of last post possible. So I tried to  be a good user and prepared for switching to favorites to keep track of topics without the need to switch back to "My Discussions" very often, these aren't all really favorites.

I know  what you mean, but it's better than having 500+ bookmarking posts. I see your problem of users contributing nothing and saving favorites like hell. What about connecting this limit with post rank? For e.g. 50, 100, 200, 400 ... and unlimited for Funky? 

The tag cloud is enabled on the front page, it just doesn't show up. I'm afraid it would contains so many tags, that displaying it causes "timeout" and makes the renderer think that there arent any tags.

Tags are limited by forum in that sense, that the forum-specific tag-cloud shown only tags used in that forum. But when a tag is clicked, it show all instances of that tag usage from all forums...

Nevertheless, I'll be investigation this issue.

I think it's possible that this consumes a lot of performance partly b.o. many people browsing the forums. So I would try to deactivate tags cloud per forum if possible and see if it helps.

Is it possible to cache the tags cloud too?

The one I'm using with working favorites is 2.0.0.7

i don't understand, it maybe is my account? for some reason, since i edited my profile to the different theme, i can no longer access my Edit profile page, or my favourites account. i also still get the problem that i can't add a post to my favourites as it keeps flashing under Internet Explorer so it isn't just a Mozilla thing, migth be my account?

You might have changed to "lean & green"... haven't had a look at that theme, so it's now globally disabled & you're resetted back to the default.

 One thought, could the pop-up window that comes up to create a link default to "Open in new window" instead of "open in same window"?

I like the upgrade, but i did notice that there are no pictures to go along with the name in "my discussions" and also, when i click on a name in "my discussions" there is no picture preview. Like there used to be. Also, it doesn't say who started the thread, just who posted the last post. I think it's important to include the person who founded the woman.

But now many posts I've tagged have lost all their tags. It looks like something or someone wiped away all tags in posts which were tagged with "early met-art" and put a lot of my tagging work down the toilet.

Not only "early met-art", but tags like "MET-art" and "femjoy" are all gone as well... tens of tags. Can't figure out what might have caused that... maybe renaming tags to start sitenames with uppercase character destroyed my work as well. Oh well...

When I get all the categories straight, the idea will be allowing public tagging.

Ok I'm sorry for being such a pain and the log-in issue was already kindly fixed by Funky but the thing is that all my recent posts as guayas are being automatically deleted by the system? (I guess), I mean signed as guayas everything I post is out there, but as a guest and everyone else appears "this post was deleted" as in this same thread on first page. I don't know maybe I'm doing something wrong or is it possible that I'm somehow banned?, I'd like to know. Thanks and again sorry for the bumping.

We're probably losing threads again. A few days ago I saved links to all "my" threads to get a list of threads to tag. Now I've recognized that  http://peachyforum.com/forums/t/192002.aspx is gone. I don't know if it was locked. Did you delete locked threads in the last 5 days?

Oh no, not "met-art"! Now I can start from the beginning. It must all happened in the last few hours, when I recognized that posts with "early met-art" tag lost alll their tags, "met-art" was still there.

You mean tags editable by everyone and not just by mods and thread-creator? Would be very great! For this case it might help to have an extra (sticky) thread for questions and discussions about tags to keep them straight, avoid redundant tags, tags with unclear meaning etc.
