But now that I see what one of his models does with another photographer, I can state that Galitisn knew how to take good pictures.
Heopefully, someone else in Volgograd will pick up the torch and get his old models back to posing. And get Julia back in the fold. the guy she is with now sucks ass.
Unfortunately, I doubt anyone will. While Galitsin seems to be accused of underage pornography, I tend to believe that is false. The biggest charge against him appears to be the overlooked fact that producing pornography in Russia is still illegal. Russia is not a free country anymore. Putin has rolled back many freedoms there, and continues to do so. Galitsin will at some point be handed down a conviction for producing porn, and probaby also for underage porn just for good measure, whether he is guilty of that or not, to scare everyone else away.
He may be guilty of harassment with Alice, though from the sounds of it she's not squeaky clean herself for trying to blackmail him (although I don't really know if that's just hearsay from galitsin's rants in his letters to Pooty Poot) but harassment is all he should be charged with. The manufacuring and distributing porn charges are there so that the moral police in Russia can scare others off from peddling smut and "tarnishing great Mother Russia's image abroad". Very sad, but not surprising for a country that is backsliding into despotism (or at least nationalistic authoritarianism) faster than the U.S. is.
Meanwhile, the unfounded underage porn charges continue to harm the community, as all of his photo shoots are becoming "lost" because nobody dares share them anymore because of the stigma attached to all of them.
