Do we Want Fakes?

Update: To Clarify:

The question isn’t rather or not he can post in one thread, IMO a new (single) thread here in the celebrity section for fakes would be fine. The question was if we should allow them to be posted within each celebrity’s thread. So far, it would seem the popular vote is NO and I have to agree. I just thought I would give everyone a shot to voice their opinion just in case I was wrong.

I have been contacted by a blogger who specializes in fake nudes of celebrities. Now, before I give him the “go ahead” to begin posting here I would like to hear some thoughts about fake nudes. Do we want to see them? Is it something that we might be interested in checking out?

I for one am not a big fan of fakes, however these are pretty good and just because I’m not a fan doesn’t mean no one else is, so SPEAK UP NOW.

As you can easily see, the parody pics we post on our weblogs do not look lame. On the contrary, they look quite natural, and many of them can be considered as real pieces of nude art. So, if you do not mind, I would like to post a few links on this forum, providing high quality of the content. We can also discuss the idea of link exchange between our blogs and peachforum.com

Thank you, Hunter27 for letting me in. I do believe that fake pics can be worth seeing and discussing, as many of them can look extremely beautiful. As for their not being real... After so many Avatar-like movies, crowded with characters made by means of digital technologies, it is almost impossible to set the boundaries of reality. After all, everything exists in our imagination only. I mean that different people see the world differently, and some people get impressed with things which leave the other people untouched, and we go on making up our personal stories about what we can see around. These personal stories and attitudes very often have little in common with the reality. However, we do believe in them...

For starters, let me add one more fake image featuring Emma Watson. Sure, she has never posed like that, but doesn't any of us see her like that in our dreams?

Well, I only wrote a letter to one of you, Moderators, asking for his permission to link to my blogs. I do not want to be a spammer, I only want to share some beautiful pieces from my collection. And yes, get more readers if people on this forum like them. It resulted in launching this new thread. (I want to thank Hunter27 for it again.)

As for fakes, there can be found tons of very ugly ones. I'd prefer to discuss masterpieces only )) Or someone's personals works. I personally do not make fakes. I only collect and discuss someone else's, giving all credits to the talented artists.

I hate fakes. Even good ones.

Fakes do nothing for me and I don't know what there is to discuss about them. I'd imagine it's goes something like: "Yep, it's a fake" discussion over. lol

If there's a desire for it maybe it could be it's own subforum. Or there could be a topic for it under the Themes / Fetish category. There's really no need to have fakes in the actual celebrity directory since, well, you're not actually seeing a celebrity. If you just want to see some random naked person you can find that pretty much anywhere else on the board.

Sure, I love fakes when they are done well.

Well... I can't agree with you. And I will try to illustrate my opinion with several Miley Cyrus nude fakes.

First of all, we may discuss the quality of the faker job done. I have to say that they have advanced a lot in that direction, but still there can be found very clumsy pics, and pics which are nearly indistinguishable from real pics. More or less.

Second, we may discuss the mood in fake images. They sometimes make very funny or impressive combinations of a celebrity's face and a nude model's body. Such pics as this one can really make people laugh.

These Miley pics are ridicules looking IMO. I could understand discussing your points if we where talking about actual works of art but common, working heads into other peoples body is hardly art. Again, imo.

Either way, I'm fine with whatever the mods decide to do, although I agree they (the fakes) should have their own section/subforum. It would, for me personally, suck if I see a favorite celeb of mine has an update just to discover another ridicules looking fake has bumpped the thread.

Celebrity Fakes is a great fantasy genre.

It allows artists to be creative and help us all imagine how our favorite leading ladies might look in different roles.
