I'm considering buying some domains names so I can sell them later on. Of course who else isn't, even though they're gonna be like 60$ a pop.

If they are not forced they will stay with .com to not be blocket by search engines and childsoftware.
It only works with laws.

Yes, getting blocked it the major concern... there might also be family friendly Internet Service Providers that will block .xxx. There is a regulation forcing to move as well... hell, adult webmastering is going harder and harder!

Another thing with .xxx is that anyone can register Peachy18.xxx if we're not fast and then we need to buy that from a broker with 6,000$... and that the yearly price of .xxx (60$) is much higher then for .com (7$).

Why not a .TV or .INFO domain ??

Less headache !

In my view this is an attempt to lump all adult sites in one little package so when the next law passes it will be that much easier to do away with ALL PORN on the internet.

hehehe, I didn't pay for h8sh8.com in time after having it for a few years. It is actually the name of a band I'm in, and some bastard bought it and wont sell it back. But the thing is we've not released anything, and no one other than friends know the bands name (any whoever reads this now), so whoever bought it has just wasted their money - and it's not like anyone's gonna enter that address by mistake. Plus we'll probably end up changing our name before our demo comes out anyway. hehe.

they will never be able to shut down all porn..  I mean they have tried to stop illegal warez and mp3's and what not and you'll notice new ones pop up everyday
