Today there was a tribute at Westminster Abbey, London, for this comic Genius, who died last October:

Probably not well-known to our US friends, he was certainly loved by all in the UK. I first started seeing him on TV shows when I was a kid, and followed all his many funny shows and sit-coms with a passion over more years than I care to mention! 'The Two Ronnie’s' variety show (his co-star and friend being Ronnie Corbet) became a institution for family viewing on weekend peak-time TV in the late 70's/80's for tens of millions in the UK, with many of my generation (40+) remembering many quotes from the sketches to this day... (four candles?)

Sadly and sorely missed by me and millions of others.... another comic genius lost forever in life... thank goodness for DVD's and 'UKTV Gold'

RIP Ronnie.
