Annoying Fashion Trends

so, it seems Hollywood and other such well-known hubs of the world feel the need to show us what's cool in fashion and I, for one, need to vent about it  (what else is new.. )

#1 - guys wearing toques to awards shows or clubs!

in Canada, we wear toques to hold in body heat 'cause it's frikkin cold out ... maybe it's just me, but every time I see a celebrity wearing a toque in warm weather, I break out laughing and I'm thinking,  "what a slave to the celebrity fashion wheel."

Ugh those skinny pants... I can't find a good pair of jeans anymore, they're all so damn tight, like saran wrap.  Ick.

all these celeb tarts who think it's cool to carry around a little dog and dress it up like a rodeo clown ...

what happens when the trend is over?
do they hand the dog back in for a refund or wtf ?

Well right now I'm on the lookout for "boyfriend" jeans... just baggy, comfy jeans.  Impossible!  I think I'm gonna have to start looking in the guys section!

*blush*  I gotta admit... the whole little dog dressed up and carried around thing is enticing for me... I think it's just the whole maternal thing us girls have goin' on.  Not sure ;)

Big Gigantic Useless Complex (did i mention big?) boots on tiny hot chicks... now they might actually look good on occasions but.. try having a girlfriend with a pair of these, takes half hour+ just to put them on...

Haha I'm with you Bradster, I think it's crazy how the jeans that are ripped and "dirty" are more expensive now than jeans that aren't distressed.

Haha, I agree Hunter! I thought this damn "fad" would have died out by now....guess I was severely wrong. In Denis Leary's No Cure For Cancer he mentions this...funny but true.

He was talking about some kid at a 7-11 who worked there, and had his jeans sagging. "24 inches of underwear! Pull your jeans up, asshole. That's why it's called UNDER-FUCKING-WEAR!! Jesus Christ!!"

along those lines ...

I saw a comedien once who was going on about his kid wearing his baseball hat sideways and told the boy;

"either straighten your hat out or I'll crank your head around for ya!"

awesome!!!
