How long does it normally take for an avatar to be approved and put in place?

 

If you use a 100x100 / 120x120 pixel pic from your files it goes automatically.

If you use a hotlink (outbound) which you did, you will not get permission.....

Upload is disabled for me...and it says I must get moderator approval.

I would like to ask 1 more quicky if I may. What about thread thumbnails? How is that done? It DOES say disabled there. is it possible for me, or anyone to edit those? Thanks for your patience with me.

With regard to Teen and Babes30+ sections pse look further down in this section. There are various threads with this subject. Basically it means that only links (url's) might generate a thumbpreview. However not all links. It's a matter of "wait-and-see". Single pic-links never generate a preview.  If possible, mods will try to edit a post i.o. to generate a preview.  Themes/Fetish and Archives presently no new thumbpreviews.  Maybe in future mods and/or trusted persons might be able to add previews.

I want to make sure I am understanding this correctly.... is this saying, that right now, no matter how many different link url's I swap in as the top post, it will not presently generate a thumbpreview as the thread title? I am speaking specifically (and currently "waiting and seeing) on the Watergasm thread in Fetishes.

I may be beating a dead horse, forgive my ignorance...in trying to set my profile avatar, "upload" is "disabled". I only see where I can add a link url. After reading other threads on this forum, as well as trial an error, adding link url's of jpegs is not the way to set this. I use my phone for browsing, so apparently uploading saved files is not an option for me...am I stuck without an image?

If you're that eager to have an avatar then use your desk- or lap-top for uploading your avatar-pic
