This condition is actually considered an abnormality and most women
hate their areolas to puff - shudder to think. Sad but true, here is a link describing

After countless viewing of puffies, I've
noticed that the areolas are large in diamater. There are exceptions to
that general rule which is why we get that confusion between "Pointy"
and "Puffy". Personally, I say that
if the breast have small areolas and the breast are cone-shaped, they
are pointy not puffy. Medically however, as long as any part of the
areolas puff (whether big or small in diamater) they are considered
puffies.
