Well, all the improvements actually target the segment with old computers / slow network / mobile... since visitors with fast dsl already have everything running fine. So even if they have old computers, it doesn't (necessary) mean they don't like everything a little bit faster (1-3 sec / page load).

I've done some work with favorites, but the problem itself is hard to reproduce... I've got a few hours free this weekend, hopefully it will be fixed as well.

In the last few days I have at times had characters and graphics come up when I click on some photos for an englargment.  I have had that happen on some links posted here.  I can click on a link, the set of photos comes up, I click on a photo to enlarge it, and the characters replace the photo.

Can someone tell what is causing this?

Yeah, that's the "gallery.peachy18.com" thing they do to all the galleries... it's fubar.

The solution is this:

On the right side of the forum topic you're on, there's a box that says "Post List Settings", (unless you went to that page via the search engine, then it doesn't show up) .  By default, it says "Show Only Thumbs".  Change that to "Only Links", and the correct galleries will show up, and the picture links will work again.

PM Alert ( "mail !" ) is temporarily out of order. Therefore, not visible if any new PM's are in your mailbox. Sending/receiving PM's still working. Regularly check your mailbox even without alert.  There might be unread PM's

The 'report post' function is also out of order for the time being.

We are aware of these problems and are working to fix it.

Made some minor fixes, might be a good idea to list them if anyone is having glitches. Like

Threadlist:

- pagelinks look now like buttons with a border. This makes it a bit cleaner looking, but also easier to hit with mobile devices

- Replies / Views are now sortable columns

Adding posts-page:

- removed some unused editing properties

- on Options -screen, removed unused thread post icons

- on Preview -screen, made UI match more regular thread posts

+ Also minor UI fixes about spacing / borders etc. everywhere. Not a big thing, but somewhat easier to eyes

After these changes, Preview is now no longer working for me.

It just sticks at Loading ............no preview is shown

Thanks - made some fixes to the preview, should now work.

Again missed that page. Now made some fixes to MyDiscussions / Favorites & Private Messages. Added leftside menu.

Changed top link on menu to My Discussions, since still puzzled why Favorites aren't working for everyone.
