I've been a member here since 08 and today for the first time a domain of mine is coming up as too many copyright violations, etc.  I'm familiar with the rules of the forums and always do my best to abide by them.  Hell, I don't even know where the ban came from or why?

If in fact there is a problem, or I have something hosted that someone thinks I shouldn't I would be more than happy to remove or resolve the offending post/gallery/content.  I'm just kinda in the dark here.

the domain in question i...

***Edit:  I just noticed that a meet madden gallery posted earier this morning has been removed/deleted.  Which makes even less sense to me.  I know for a fact that wasn't a bad gallery or violating any rules and or copyrights.

your site contains ref ID's and nat codes for your own self profit and/or promotion. Looks like you have been spamming that URL a lot and we finally figured it out.

I'm not going to lie about the site being mine, or the affiliate links belonging to myself. Nor have I even attempted to hide this fact? I understand all too well about protecting the forums from spammers and people trying to take advantage. But this entire forum is made on affiliate sites similar to mine.

I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, but what is wrong with submitting my own sites? As long as I play by the rules and actually contribute to the rest of the community. As far as I understand it, that is not spamming.

I mean, reading through the rules you mention Spammers starting flame wars, starting junk threads, posting in the wrong area's, linking directly on the forums with their referral codes, being here just for the money. I'm confident I don't do any of these things and labeling me as a spammer for the simple fact that it is my site is a bit frustrating I have to say. I would understand if I was re posting old tired content, but everything I've ever posted was either self made with the permission of the content providers or brand new. Just like the madden gallery I mentioned. Brand new, fresh gallery, never before seen and it gets deleted?

Once again, I'm contributing fresh unique content, not spam? Sorry to vent, but I'm just having trouble finding the logic in this. I've spent a lot of time here on peachy forums. I didn't just sign up a week ago. But when you are labeled something you're really not it tends to light a fire inside me.

Users posting every now and then an affiliate site like yours is something completely different than someone massposting his own site only and nothing else.  Not ever assisting other members or contributing in threads.  Just that one site only - over and over again.....  In our book that's spamming for personal gain and profits !

We only weight suspicious, spammy behaviour too keep everyone safe. That's our #1 priority.

Even if you're different to normal spammer and tend to contribute also good posts, the problems is that "we have a short memory". Meaning we don't have long memory or whitelists on "good advertisers", only in-case knowledge how spammers work. Well and on my point-of-view, only good advertiser is one that brings cash to us...

We have many moderators, and if your current posting day consists of sending 5-10 galleries to different threads with same domain name, you will fast start blinking our red lights and the moderator will most likely ban you. That's because it's clearly getting out of hand - what's the guarantee when mod goes offline there won't be 30-50 posts to same domain? And it sure makes suspicious, why that domain... maybe it will soon go offline, redirecting all traffic to virus-hell? That would be a nightmare for the next mod coming online.
