hi again ilbits. I've tried downloading the Selena clip:

as you advised. When you get to "save as" all that you save is a 1kB link to the WindowsMedia Audio-visual file, which in turn links to a html-page. As long as the page is on-line there should be no problem, but as soon as it's deleted then the clip is lost forever.If you check on the site where it came from www.beautifulagony.com then you'll find that it is the only free sample they have, and for non-members cannot be downloaded as a zip-file!
Hope this makes sense. Any more ideas??             mike.

Did you open Windows Media Player first and paste in the URL?
OK, just right-click the URL in your post and "Save Target As..."
