What an exceptionally nice young lady from the Americas Lori is. I am strangely moved by all of this and have trashed all my sauce-based JC images in a mad flurry of true respect. Good show indeed.

Hey Lori, congrats on the new direction your life's taking. The one big thing that always got me about you is how your personality tends to shine through - you just seem like a really cool, fun person and I reckon that's a big part of why you became so popular, so I hope you don't feel your success was *entirely* down to you getting naked all the time. Weird as it may sound (since I don't know you), I'm really glad your life is starting to kick ass and this will probably put a smile on my face all week.

Good luck with the Peace Corps too - I've heard people say they've had awesome adventures

Lori,

Wow, I never heard of this site before, I stumble on and we're having a conversation with Jordan Capri... I'm a big fan of yours.  I think it's cool that you have found spirituality in your life and I wish nothing but the best for you... your personality really shines in your pictures and I always thought there was something more to you.  I went through a tough period myself with drugs and alcohol in the past few years and now with the influence of meditation, self-knowledge etc. I'm back in college on full scholarship at the age of 24 with my life ahead of me.  Something special about Christianity is the truth that it's never too late to turn around and that we always walk in the grace of God.. so remember that.  Save your money now, and invest wisely too.  And lastly I would like to suggest a book to you called "The Way of the Peaceful Warrior" by Dan Millman... do yourself a favor, find a copy and read it, you will not regret it if you are taking your life on a "spiritual" path (which is a stupid term cause we're all spirits.. y'know?)  Anyways good luck and I wouldn't be too mad about it if you e-mailed me at futureperfect777@aol.com.  Actually that would be kinda cool.  ok peace Lori and best wishes for you.

And now comes the question:

Why the website jordancapri.com is still online? do you continue making money on that? Or it's Steve Lightspeed the unscrupulous guy that makes all the money?

They are using pics from sets they complied over the years I was working there. I don't make any money off of it.... Plus, they're selling DVD's of me now (Yeah for LS!   More Money$$$)

No, I don't feel my "success was entirely down to you getting naked all the time"  Some people may disagree, but I don't care.  I think I'm a freakin' HAM for the camera and let my true personalityshine through on ALMOST (i stress ALMOST) everything I did for LS...which is what made me so popular. NO ONE can take that from me...though they want to. You know how pissed off me writing on this blog is probably making many people... but I don't care. I mean no harm to anyone & if they take it that way they obviously were NOT my friends (you KNOW WHO YOU ARE) ...they didn't know me at all...

Thanks for the well wishes with my Peace Corps goal! :) You're a sweetheart!

Am I the only person who thinks it's completely RIDICULOUS that the once and future Ms. Capri is currently slaving away at dull-as-dirt desk jobs and struggling to pay the bills?

It would be one thing if she said she loved this life of pointless, 60-hour-a-week drudgery and debt -- but reading her blog entries, this is clearly not the case.

Lori, darling, you are young, extraordinarily beautiful, you have a fantastic spirit, an awesome smile, and about a jillion fans all over the globe. You can, and you should, be doing SO much more!

I think it's great that you've made the choice to quit the nudie biz and "go legit." But please, for heaven's sake, don't lock your precious self away in an office under fluorescent bulbs and staring at a computer screen all day! Enough with the diet of beer and ramen noodles! Let your light shine, sweetie! I know you're a little mixed-up right now, but believe me, there are many options open to you which you may not even be considering.

I came to Hollywood eight years ago to be an actor & writer, and today it's what I do full-time. There were some really rough years, but it's never been less than an amazing adventure, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Although I'm not in a position to give you any direct assistance, I'd be happy to talk with you and at least offer some encouragement -- in whatever path you end up deciding to take. I'm going to send you a PM with my website and email if you want to get in touch.

All the best!

Sorry to see you go Lori. I've made a little money with you and LS, and I hate to see you go. I dunno what went wrong between you and LS but just consider yourself  lucky, that you were with them and not some of the other companies that are out there. A lot of these companies, will fully take advantage of their girls and they have little or nothing to show for it in the end.

I do feel lucky to have chosen to work for Lightspeed, as they did treat me well (as far as always paying me on time/as promised and not pressuring me into doing anything I didn't want to do) as I know there are alot of complete sleazeball places out there.

There were two main reasons for me leaving. 1) My religious beliefs,  2)There was an unbeliveable amount of negativity from people I had to deal with/work with that brought me down everytime I encountered it.

I didn't really walk away with anything tangible, but I walked away with knowledge and a lesson (as I've posted earlier) I could not have learned any other way.Party!!! </li>[<:o)]

I am writing this here because I don't know how to start a new post.  Apparently Steve has been getting "death threats" from people off of here.  This is NOT the intention I had when I began posting on this board.  I quoted what I wrote above (to you death-threateners...PLEASE READ)

As I've said, I am a full believer in Christianity. Negativity and hate are not part of that. If me posting on this board has caused that, then I am contridicting my own morals and beliefs! Let's please get this cleared up.  I confess, I do hold a bit of anitmosity toward Steve Lightspeed. However, I do not want to cause problems in his life! Again, please read what I wrote above....We'll see what happens.

To all you good people out there:  I THANK YOU DEARLY FOR YOUR POSITIVE COMMENTS AND FEEDBACK. YOU HAVE HELPED TO BUILD MY FAITH IN MY DECSION & THAT IS TRUELY APPRECIATED.  I LOVE YOU GUYS...ALLL MY FANS AND ALL WHO HAVE SPOKEN WELL ABOUT ME. THANK YOU THANKYOU THANK YOU! *MUAH*!!!

Much Love

Lori,
I'm sorry to hear of the problems that Mr. Lightspeed is encountering from some members of this forum. But I would be more sorry to hear that you would end your posting here because of it. I sincerly hope that anyone involved in this activity realizes that this kind of behaveour is a)immoral, b)illegal and c)will not help them become closer to you, which I'm sure they think it will.
I am about to take the trek to become a male fashion model and just wanted to tell you that should you decide to become a model of some sort as well you do not need to spend thousands of your own dollars for some pictures to bring to agencies. When you have the look, you have the look and I think you do. So you shouldn't have too much trouble. The one problem you might have is your height, most female fashion models are around 5 foot 9. There are always exceptions though. I'm sorry, I'm not someone who should be giving you advice on anything, I just like the sight of my typing sometimes... 8-)
Anyway, I guess I just wanted to say hi.

THINK PEOPLE!   Ok fine, the majority of us are men. Some of 'us' are possessive and like to 'protect our women'.  We however, MUST alwayse be aware of the consequences of 'our' actions not directly alone, but indirectly as well. What is the point of threatening steve? Will that make him change his ways or will it make him more fucked up? What about the other girls who works with him? How will he treat them under threats of violence or death? Yeah, I feel it too and would love to see him and other people in this world burnt at the stake but, it just doesn't work like that.

A consequence of the actions of some  individuals is to make Lori feel hesitant to post here. I'm sure that wasn't the intention. I certainly appreciate Lori as a member here and wouldn't want her to go. Please people, back off from the automatic instincts and let Lori deal with her own problems. She's a big girl and in my opinion,  has done very well up to now.

Thanks.

Welcome Mr. Lightspeed to the exclusive circle of people who exploit other people
on a professional basis and make other people who believe they are close to the
aforementioned people rather pissed at them. I know it is a little surprise to
you, given the time that passed and the business you work in, but since those
people were stupid enough to tell you the source and origin of their anger, I would
be more concerned about crossing a busy street in Italy than about them. They may be
a threat to a bag of potato chips but very unlikely to a human being, who has its wits
about it. Still, changing your residence to a place where it is not a walk in the park to
get a firearm might be prudent. Anyway, you are rich, you will manage.

My dear valiant knights in shining armor on your white steeds or heroic lone ninjas - if that
is the way you prefer to see yourself. Wouldn't it be  far more noble to target the boards
of the corporations your damsel in distress is currently toiling for? Wouldn't the prize
of victory be far more worthy? Imagine, you wouldn't save one person, but thousands maybe tens
of thousands! Let Mr. Lightspeed boil in his own juices, he isn't even small fry. He is only unworthy
of the attention of such stalwart heroes like yourself if anything.
/sarcasm off

Probability is a mean son of a bitch, isn't it? Currently the counter is at 3519 views of the
thread.  And all it takes are a few morons to make it another example of the way humans act
toward people they only conceive as a statistic in comparison to those they conceive as a fellow
human being. :-|

@ Lori

While my associations with Christianity especially the higher levels in the hierarchy diverge
from yours - be aware kids, this is what you get from reading to many history books and watching
other news than Fox ;-) - I am glad you have such a mindset. Hold on to it, you
will only realize, how precious it was, after you lost it. Just don't let yourself be fooled into
looking at everybody else with rosy-tinted spectacles. But I am repeating myself and life seems
to have taught you this lesson already.

Probably I just wanted to keep Hawkeye company. He is not the only new kid in town, who
likes to see his own typing. :-D

I'll retreat into my barrel now.

It's very sad to hear that some people think that they could change something by sending hate mails. Guys, think your it. As Lori said, she is totally against hate and negativity. And by the way: She's twenty-one, not a child. DonĀ“t you think that she can speak for herself and can get things cleared for herself. I think she'll be very happy about our support but what some people did goes way too far. Sorry guys but that sucks.

@ LORI

As a huge fan I'm very interested in the way how the idea came to your mind to change your life completly. I'm glad to hear that you're a full believer in Christianity and I hope that you will enjoy your life after Lightspeed.

By the way. You are the reason why I've got a lot of work. As I've said I'm a huge fan and besides I'm a musican. (Well, I've got no record company, nor enough money to pay a studio, but I can play some instruments and write lyrics). It took me about one month to write a song about you. Believe me, it was very hard for me to find rymes on "Jordan", especially when you're form Germany and English is a foreign language. So now I have to write a new one. But that's no problem. Spending time on a song about you is spending time on a really good thing.

I hope I'll read some more posts from you; don't leave us.
