Hey mods, any idea what happened to the thread for Josie Model?  It's not coming up in the searches or the "My Discussions" list.  What's going on?

JosieModel's thread ( as well as threads of KarenDreams, LindseyMarshall and Angie TotalSuperCuties) were removed from our boards because lawyers of their webmasters SolarCash served us with a DMCA notice allegedly b.o. copyright violation.

A small website like Peachyforum is lacking the funds and means to start a legal battle. 

Moreover, they are harassing our ISP about this, who on his turn threatens us "to pull out the plug". 

So with regret we were forced to remove those threads.

I thought the only model that kind of BS was happening with was Ariel Rebel.

Well, at least Josie and Lindsey are retired... we're not missing out on anything new :\

But still, this website is why I subscribed to Lindsey and Josie's sites at one point, so it's SolarCash's loss... this place is free advertising!!!

Wonder why, now, after all these years? Josie's been gone for a long time but there was tons of Josie material up here for a long time, and it's been around 4 years since her site closed.

I'd heard a rumour a few months ago she was returning to modelling. Could be the reason?

When a company fails people start looking to point the finger at anyone besides themselves.

o.o look at all this free content that we made available for promotional reasons. Who's in charge of promotion?! Wait, this site, peachyforum. Our promo galleries are taking tons of hits from this site. Who's going to buy our shit when they can see everything they want right there?

Just look at the sites, 99% old and failed. They just need to try and rationalize why they suck. So if pointing a finger at peachy makes someone feel better, than.. whatever.

 

The only real winners of all this are those law-sharks getting easy money from just sending some e-mails only.

They perfectly know that soft targets like Peachyforum are easy targets.

The sites hiring those lawyers are shooting themselves in their foot.  Loosing free advertising (as said above) and gaining a lot of resentment from their subscribers etc.

 

Agree, its all a bit odd. Assume a lot is to do with the fact that original sites have sold portfolios onwards, and 'Solar' and the like are trying to get second bite of cherry (sic). Just for fun I popped off to see whats on other legitimate sites. Interesting, I can get complete sets from day one, of all of those. So why hit Peachy ?, the one place that does'nt post complete sets ???. Puzzled Drum.

At this point in time the whole cyber-cop- troupe is invading forums globally. Some webmasters have even taken owners, admins and mods to court and sued them for upwards of 10000 US $. In some cases the webmasters have won. Example: True Teen Babes. I know most of the persons involved and can tell that given the economical reccesion the net has not gotten better. There are more models willing to shoot than ever before, but there are not enough customers around to pay for their services. For the owners and admins, time has turned attention from creating new material to protecting old material, and making a living from the profits of that. Sad but true. mike=)).
