Just curious... (Bumping/Bookmarking Discussion)

Why are discussions of models, on their thread, being removed or censored?  I have made random comments about some models only to find that they have been removed.  The latest one is regarding NAMES REMOVED!!, and the bruises on her breasts.  Is there something in the rules that I am missing?  Have the forums changed to just links?

This is common sense??

There are many models lurking here to see what is being Posted in their threads.

I talk to a lot of them.

I have removed a lot of posts By request of quite a few different models.

1 because her husband saw she did lesbo stuff.

Several because someone called her a cutter, etc.

How would YOU feel if you were a model looking at your thread?

Why would you or anyone else make a comment like that!

PeachyForum should be about discussion AND links. If someone wants to see only links, there's a feature on the right (on the picture forums), called "show only posts with links". Click that & less text to read :). So, everyones welcome to post text, even if we're moving to more & more graphical direction (or: Peachy18 is our graphical version).

But with one exception: nobody should write about how a model "looks nice", "has lovely hair" or "what's you number?" etc. ome really like to b u m b  /  bookmark topics that way. We shouldn't also white any private details about the models and even if it sometimes seems difficult, try to avoid hurting girls' feelings. If we play our cards right, we'll get our favourite models to post on their topics about themselves - that would be something really worth aiming for!

OK, I can understand that.  But a little more info sure would be nice in some situations.  There are some cases, particularly concerning women whom we haven't seen anything new from for years, where a simple comment that a model also does lesbo stuff gives her fans some hope.

I recall a case where a model broke up with her abusive boyfriend and asked her stuff featuring the asshole to be removed.  So it was.  Her fans weren't happy but at least we understood why the thread was gone.

I don't understand why moderators spend so much time on moderating as it is but it sure would be nice if you could work out a simple, standard process for them, when removing a comment &/or URL, to replace that with an automatic explanation that that removal was due to banned site, model request, or whatever.

Nothing gives me more pleasure than to spend several hours hunting around the Web for something new from some gal whose thread hasn't been updated for years, finding a  new pic or flick, and updating her thread.  When those URLs or minor details of her career then get removed with no explanation, it tends to curb my enthusiasm for such hunts. :(  It's almost enough to get me to settle down, raise a family, & give up on porn.  (No, not really.)

I do understand your pain! Also done lot's of work just to notice it getting torn off the net later. We love our forum and every post in it, protect the topics till the end. We remove no topics due to empty threats, sentimental stories or some faked letters - you may trust on that. A popular topic (and not only small parts of it) is only removed when we get a signed letter with real contact names, passport pictures, contracts and have tried our best (even in phone) to get things settled with the models or site owners. Small posts are modified when we clearly see it's going to that in the long run.

When we remove something, we report with edit notes and watch each others' doings (like good communits do). I cannot even fully delete anything - deleted topics go to our "trash bin". And if I don't report a good reason, other admins (mostly Funky) will surely have questions about it.

Thanks for the development idea about speeding the process! We use edit notes and email templates, so most of you know when the topic has been removed/moved. Everybody should make sure that you're email address is up to date and you've allowed the forum to take contact on your profile!

We're also getting better when communicating about deleted/moved posts. A few days back we managed to spare enough server resources to get Private Message notification feature.

Still one thing - Don't ever think getting post removed is your or anyone other member's fault. This problem is with the concept of PeachyForum. Other sites promote only popular celebs/pornstars, those are used to news and attention about minor things in their life without getting upset. However, we're mostly about tons of less known models without clear contracts in their language. The big porn stars have their own companies/representatives, but the less known ones require the most of our time when we try to get things settled (mostly in Russian). But they still can put lots of their work and money in letters, lawyers etc. and force some pictures off.

Oh, thanks for the suggestion.  I see I'd left an old, defunct e-address and never made even that public, even though it's one of my extra addresses that I give out to potential spammers anyway.  (I hope that's not insulting.)  So I've updated that.

Is it looked down upon to just make a verbal comment on a post when one sees an addition to that forum... I generally review most forums on a daily basis as well as follow my personal discussions and always want to join in with positive feedback.  Am I not following "the rules" in doing this?

When a new and exciting forum to me is added, can I not make a positive comment so that this forum will be added to my discussions?

Just curious about the general participation on peachyforum simply because I do not always have material to share here but still want to be visually stimulated with new material..

Short answer - NO. I didn’t append those posts here but I can see why a mod would. I mean, if you like a model enough to want to follow her thread than at least do some research and add some new links with your comment. Nobody likes to see a thread rise in their discussions only to see something posted like “Wow great tits”.

Aside from basically bumping all those posts and disappointing contributing followers. It is as if you expect everyone else (actual contributors) to do all the work and research for you. In the future if you really like her that much than I’d suggest contributing something to the thread, other than a non informative comment. If you can’t find something to contribute, even maybe useful information, use your browser bookmarks.

If we allowed everyone to do this, imagine a ten page thread with four or five actual links. No one is the exception.
