Please delete his posts and give him an IP ban.  This is not the only website he doing this to.

He should be gone by now. We were slow at the start, since we're low on resouces and the software is old - but now we're more prepared for such cases.

Just IP banning won't do it, since need to always ban whole romanian mobile network subnets. Took few days, but finished new clean-up scripts, that whipe-out all his messages from internet history. Just a few days back it required manual work from mods to remove his 500+ posts and we couldn't keep up.

A couple of questions, Vatsis: 1: Why not appoint more moderators and give them the ability to delete posts/threads? Especially since funky2004 is pretty much gone, and his workrate was the most phenomenal here. 2: Will you ever upgrade the forum software? I firmly believe in 'if ain't broke, don't fix it' but I have been coming here for over 5 years now and this forum still looks exactly the same as it did then. (Having said that, there have been some great improvements, like the gallery previews). 3: Will you ever have a mobile version of Peachyforum for Android/iOS? I am sure many people view PF on their smartphones and it's extremely difficult and cumbersome. Would be nice to have a mobile version for sure.

I nominate Foggy Notion as a moderator, if he is interested. He is on here often, reliable, safe and trustworthy.

1: We could have more mods, but atm need to think carefully how to organize bigger amount of people & communication, who's do(did) what/when. We already have too many "rules", things should be automated and UI intuitive... the software is just missing features and doesn't make the process easy enough.

2: Forums cannot be upgraded. The software isn't supported anymore. But I'm gathering some time & people to do migration to a completely new software. Unfortunately, it will take lots of resources.

3: Mobile version is under development, mainly lacking a new UI designer. You may sneak peak by going to your profile, change theme to "Mobile" and then try resizing the window on the main page, topics view and posts list. It works 100% on tablets as well!

The forum software is out of date, which is why it's missing features and is no longer supported. I'd certainly not even attempt to develop and get a mobile version working properly until the current software is either updated or replaced by new software.

At oxanababy I migrated our old unused forum plus software plus whole site to new software and server last year. I could recommend a particular technician to do that if you wish (PM or ICQ).

I'm still hoping to get the chat back, and for some minor tweaks I mentioned before.

Well, the mobile version is mostly UI (html layout - responsive) update, so it's seperate from forum software. It can be updated (actually quite soon) over the current forum software, to give it a more fresh look. But it shouldn't fool us mods to think "now it's new", since under the hood, it still needs some updating.

Btw. Thanks for ideas for using techs, but I think I've got that thing covered - already have a new software on my mind and the migration scripts been done. The forum sw is done using MS tech (Windows), so it's very difficult to update using normal measures.
