Dark background will be helpful for our eyes. White bright burn our eyes and drive us to exit. It is a very simple edit to change background do dark color. Please.

The only thing missing from this now is I'm not seeing when there are new posts in my discussions.  Before, it was a bold font.  Now, they are all exactly the same.  Without clicking on all my discussions, I have no idea if there's new content there.  Any possible fix for this in the works?

It seems there was some class missing - now fixed.

About dark background - looking into it.

Not happy with "search". If I enterd to search 2 words boexample Gia B - it doesnot work. Works only with one name (fe Gia) but then i get a huge amount of staff. Hard to find exact girl with current search engine.

This is a little bit off-topic, since the new layout didn't affect the search... but on to top, if you type in "search model by name", it should allow multiple words like Gia B and you should get a few Gia B's as a results (see attached picture). Are those Gia's something you're not wishing to see, or did you happen to use "name filter"?

Since I began using the new Theme: when I Post, my view changes from "links only". It becomes (defaults to?) "show only thumbs". Not every time, but very often.

Edit 20 Feb: most of the time.

Edit 21 Feb: absolutely every time.

pages used to be labeled 'first, 1, 2, 3,......last', 'last' not showing anymore, you have click numbers many times to get to the last (most recent) post.

Can't really say what could have happened... can you change the layout back to Mobile from your profile-page?

Now fixed.

1) The new layout doesn't keep the settings about display (thumbs & links). If I have set to 'only links' and I visit a new thread, the settings are back to default 'show only thumbs'.

2) The dialog box about uploading attachment is broken, I needed to scroll on the right to click on 'save' but when I move the mouse pointer, the horizontal scroll bar goes to left suddenly, so it becomes impossible to close the upload box or click on 'save'.

How can I edit my posts?  I only see the like and reply buttons on each of my posts.

Nevermind, found out i need to allow bootstrap in my noscript add-on.

Where is the list/thread of banned sites? Or are no sites banned anymore?

@Dr.PeachLove: +1

All the boards there the topics are listed, don't show the number of pages a topic is having. Now you can't directly open the last page of a tiopic. First you have to click the topic itself and you get the first page of it and then you can click the last page.

Is it possible to get the old layout back, e.g. by selecting it as a Theme?

I see that the new layout has changed from default to mandatory.

I am still having trouble with the "Show only thumbs / Thumbs and links / Only links" feature.
As reported during beta, it is not persistent. I choose "Only links" and the value changes to "Show only thumbs" on page reload and new page.

Was there a need for this new layout, or was it simply given a facelift for the sake of giving it a facelift?

What changes have been made apart from the look? I haven't noticed anything different (yet).

One really basic feature that I'd like to see, which seemingly all other forums have, yet this one (still) hasn't.. Is the click to last/unread posts feature. Every topic always puts you on page one and then you have to click again to the last/latest posts.

If the feature is here, why doesn't it work (for me)?

These are being investigated, what could be causing the problems.

Unfortunately, no... the old theme could be selected for the transition period, which was quite a many months. Actually forgot that anyone could select it.
After a while, there were multiple major bug fixes made for the new theme (like 3rd party thumbnail engine), and the old theme didn't get the updates.
It would require too much time to do twice the amount of work when doing the fixes, now since there's only one theme in production, I can concentrate fixing the one everyone is seeing. We could even start developing a new one to replace the current one, which wasn't possible before (3rd theme would be overkill).

The main reason for the change was that page width was needed to become more "fluid" - responsive - so it would adapt to any size people are accessing the site. Theme change wasn't done to give "facelift", we didn't need any change for colors/design itself or for the sake of it. But they changed on the way, since we took Twitter bootstrap engine as our base platform and everything was re-coded from grounds up on top of it. Most of the features (button/text sizes, top menu etc.) are from Twitter bootstrap engine. Using that as a basis, we got a platform that is pre-tested to work with mobile.

See here how our current theme look quite 100% same as a default twitter theme: http://getbootstrap.com/2.3.2/ . When resizing the window, both our site and BootStrap -site response the same way, giving a solid experience for end users. It also provides support and upgrade path for PeachyForum UI, in the future it's easy to fix and update it to support different devices with minimal work.

Twitter Bootstrap a new flexible engine, allowing rendering everything for multiple channels - tablets, mobile phones in addition to PC's. Every month bigger percentage of visitors use other then mouse and display.
Porn is much personal nowadays, you may surf while your wife is on the same room using some small mobile phablet. That's what we're now optimized for, everything is easier to click, and if you turn the display the layout adapts. That's what I see as a future, not for PeachyForum, but for Internet as general.

I understand the frustration, I didn't hire any graphical designers to do any UI "facelifts" and the target wasn't to make everything to look good. Main motive was to employ the new engine the "hybrid" site of BootStrap+PF is what you see now. But since we've added features with multiple upgrades, then last time changed rendering engine, maybe the next upgrade is a real facelift with real UI design change? Some pixel-perfect cool theme truly sounds great. Maybe we would need multiple versions/suggestions before we dare to take a bigger leap from our current UI? At least if the current is worse then the old one, maybe we should just try a new theme "facelift" as our next upgrade, without adding anything else.

Thanks for the explanation.. Purely curious, as I (for one) am not more frustrated with this compared to the previous.

I would like the "go to lastest posts" feature if it exists though. :)
