Welcome to the archives. Idle conversation is not welcomed here. Why? Because when your favorite model rises to the top you expect to see her. You dont expect to see her rise to the top day after day to hear some guys thoughts and/or opinions on this or that. If you have a new link or new content than by all means feel free to post it. If you have a mouth full of crap than by all means keep it to yourself.

I apologize if I sound rude. Ive just seen too much and it takes so much time to keep the threads clean.

For a time. Kari Sweets will be locked due to abuse.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

Good points.

Just to clarify - I occasionally like to thank a poster for a good selection of new links, or some good info. Is this also frowned upon now?

Thanks.

No, of course not.  That's normal courtesy.

There are some users (unfortunately always the same) who spam numerous threads with their useless crap-posts and tittle-tattle, without really contributing , let alone posting something new.

Especially with Kari Sweets thread it was very bad. Hunter27 and other mods have been cleaning up that thread and deleted close to 20 (!) pages of this crap.

I appreciate all the mods efforts and I hope this new policy does the trick!

Kudos for all the mods' efforts. I know how hard it is being a moderator.

Good luck with these new rules and I hope this will lessen unnecessary replies

I know I've been guilty of doing that now and then on Pattycake's thread... been trying to check myself lately and it has worked for the most part. It is difficult to fight the urge to post material other than the "proper" links but, to that end, I have quit doing it. Tough tho.

I think it's a good policy ... Peachy's not the U.N.

Just to add my two cents if thats okay, how about installing a "THANKS" button on here so people can get thanked for posting without having page of people doing just that?  I don't know if thats hard to do or not, so maybe its not even possible?

not a bad idea, other forums have it, dunno if it cuts down on the crap posts but it would still be nice to have

The "Thanks" button, however good its intentions, often leads to post whoring of redundant links. Same with the "Rep" system. We all know those sites without mentioning names. Too many of those members could care less about what is shared, only their stats. Keep this place pure for sharing without other motives.

This is a good rule and I've done my fair share of reporting of annoying chatter. But it's a shame so few actually read and follow the rules, specificaly this one. It's still very annoying to find a thread I follow, bumped by somebody, can't we like, ban them? :D

Yeah its not allowed but when soemone mentions that kari sweets site is in turmoil and about to die they remove that post. Yet can still link them to sets that then refer them to her site. Sign up and see that its dead. That is just the way it is though and I KNOW WHY IT IS THAT WAY especially for her site.

Discussions about a model in the archive section ARE allowed if you only take a moment to read over the sections on the main page. Just discussions within the archived models shrines is not.

The section Talk about other sites, states.. Reviews, questions, rumors, problems, ANYTHING but links to girls/galleries etc.. For example, Kari Sweets has her shrine of content and links where discussion clearly is not allowed. Though, If you have rumors news or any sort of feedback theres nothing stopping you from posting your facts or opinions in the proper place.

See here - - > http://peachyforum.com/forums/t/kari-sweets---comments-286370.aspx

If she doesnt have a discussion thread there, by all means, make one! And have fun posting your brains out.

Alright, I've been convinced to revive this topic for discussion. Not sharing opinions is a bit of a community killer. If someone has something legitimate to say than perhaps it could be interesting to hear what it is.

However, in the past open conversation has led to extreme abuse of threads in the archives. When a thread becomes all talk and no content it's just rediculous. Threads begin to rise to the top of "front page" archives over and over even when there is no new content.

We now have the option to show only posts containing links, but that won't help much when it comes to threads bumping up in your discussions. So..

Speak up now on the this topic. We want to run this site as our members would like to see it run. Here's your last opportunity to lift this rule, or make it stick.

what about just starting a separate discussion about a particular model in the general chat area? it may mean a model ends up with two different threads, but it would give folks an option to talk about her with out bothering those who don't want to hear it. i like the idea of a 'thank you' button or 'like' button of some sort. seems like that could say a lot without saying a lot.

Lochsa9, I already commented on that thought in this thread Wink
