I first noticed this "negative nipple" effect recently on Ksenya A, also from Met-Art:

Just to be clear, I did not post this in this thread. The moderators are on a thread-merging jag and for some reason thought that a thread about girls whose nipples are lighter than the surrounding skin was somehow the same as a thread about tan lines. Tan lines are produced by clothing that blocks the effects of the sun on part of the skin while the exposed skin elsewhere is being tanned; esthetically, their appeal is that they highlight parts of the female body usually covered even when the girl is at her most scantily clad. Obviously, although Ksenya is tanned, her light nipples aren't the result of "tan lines" in the traditional sense unless she spends a lot of time out in the sun wearing nothing but pasties, which I find unlikely.
I must say I don't understand the concern the moderators have for merging threads that are similar but not identical (they did this to "women peeing" and "women drinking pee," which IMHO are not at all the same thing). It's not like there's some sort of high cost per thread that can be reduced by joining multiple threads into one.

I think I agree. Tan lines and paler nipples aren't the same thing... though the pasties thing hadn't occurred to me. Still the darkening of the skin just around the white nips doesn't speak of pasties... and maybe we should start a contrasty pale-nipple/dark-skin thread? That's what I meant to post about, I mean... is this a new fetish or whatever?
:D
