What a wonderful world we live in. Everyone has something to prove and its always the innocent people who get hurt. It pisses me off that in todays world we have so many groups out there that find pleasure in hurting people. This is what im fighting for to try and stop people like this from hurting people. My signature says "Would you Die for me". Its my motto I live by thats why I joined the Army. I understand that freedom is not free and there is always someone there that wants to take that away. I would rather die for all the innocent civilians then see any more people get hurt. To everyone in England this is a horrible tragedy. I hope you and your families are safe!!!

I just don't understand..  why in the hell do people have to go out and blow up innocent people..  what thrill do people get out of this?  its sick and barbaric..  blowing people up does not prove who's right..  it just shows that maybe the person responsible is a little sick and twisted..  I understand people have problems with the US for invading Iraq..  I do support it and when you see these continued acts of violence, much like we in the US experienced on September 11th and in France awhile back, it makes you think that maybe there needs to be something done to these terrorists..  you can't just sit back and let them do this..  it costs to many innocent lives.  the thing that people need to remember is, its not Muslims or Arabs that are responsible..  its terrorists..  Islam is to terrorists as Christianity is to the KKK..  its nothing more then a crutch to get people angry and to start a war..  if we as human beings could all just stop arguing over stupid petty differences and start working together, this world could be a much better place..  everyone now days gets affended by the littlest of things..  there is absolutely nothing wrong with differing opinions..  you must respect everyones opinion in order to have your order opinion respected..  we just all need to stop taking opinions as personal attacks and accept that everyone is different.

Its days like today that I put myself in the shoes of someone who died and I have to think what did they die for?  what did it prove?  everyone's outraged, but many people will just brush it off in a day or two and continue on with there lives doing nothing to stop this from happening again..  until it happens to there people..  these terrorists need to grow up and realize killing never solves anything..

My heart goes out to all of the people affected by this tragedy..

Interesting acticle. It does give you a lot to think about. These things can be debated over again and again. Who says whats right and wrong, should we shouldnt we?? The Army's earliest motto was "Dont tread on me" when they bring pain of course we are going to retaliate. Maybe going after Saddam was the wrong place to start, no Osama hasnt been caught but we have reeked havoc on his terrorist network and caught some of his terrorist co-conspirators. I guess there is no real point to what im writing I just need to vent!!

You know, it absolutely sickens me to see stuff like this still happening. I am sick of all the innocent people dying all over the world.

I lost friends in the 9/11 attacks here in the US and I know that there are many people in London right now feeling the same way I did then.

My heart and my prayers go out to the victims, their families and friends, and the whole of London today.

I just hope that one day all this will come to an end and we will be able to co-exist peacefully.

Yeah I agree with all of you....great posts guys. London is my favorite city in the World and I feel for all the people (and my relatives) that live there. They spend their days looking over their shoulders for the I.R.A. and similar to do something....and all of a sudden these assholes do this. Sad, sad day.

What A Wonderful World we live in:

Wednesday: London... you are awarded the 2012 Olympics, welcome all the world with your hearts

Thursday: London... the world feels for you with all our hearts

Friday: London... "welcome all the world with our hearts?"  Hard to imagine anyone, however pure their soul was, still being able to do that.

My sincerest condolences to anyone affected by this tragedy.

What A Fucked Up World We Live In.

Fucking animals.

This morning I remember that feeling I had the morning of 9/11 . . that sick uneasy feeling that made me just want to throw up. . . that feeling that made me want to go hurt whoever did this while at the same time I had the contradicting feeling of wanting to be better than them and being above using force to get what I want just to prove that we are of a higher level of sophistication (for whatever that was worth) .  I'm sure that our Spanish friends felt similar feelings when it happened there, and I am sure that our British friends are feeling something similar right now.  Just breathe, relax, and be happy that you and your family and friends are safe.  These bad people are trying desperately to disrupt our way of life in order to give attention to their cause, like a small child who is throwing a tantrum for attention.  The best response is defiance - do not let them get what they want.

Again thanks for the condolences youve sent.

I hoped we had seen the back of this....

Having felt the suction three times and the bullet once

I can symphasise with those affected yestyerday.

Did it change me?? Yes! It made me more cautious,

it also made me more aware of my fellow man, and

the need to meet and talk with all peoples.

Fanatics of all types are easy to create, but almost

impossible to turn. Therein lies the worlds problem.

If you are Muslim, read the whole of the Koran, it

does not tell you to kill innocents.

If you are Christian, read the whole of the bible, not

just the parts you want and agree with!, its full of

contradictions as well.

You defend YOUR FAITH, with just that, your faith,

not with bombs.

I will forever defend your right to worship as you like

within a free society, BUT!, I expect the same from you.

For the greater good of all, this must stop.

Sorry about the tirade lads, but if one person agrees with

me, then thats enough,

Always knew this place was visited by a fantastic bunch of people and this thread confirms it even more.

Me and my Wife's relatives in London are thankfully ok, and our thoughts go out to those who've lost loved ones.

London being such a cosmopolitan city, means that many nations and religions have been attacked, so I just hope that there is no backlash towards certain members of the UK community.

My Mum, (lived through the Blitz) and Dad, (fought in WWII), feel that these people are ultimately pissing in the ocean and can never win. I think people's resolve will just continue to get stronger against a cowardly foe who have lost their humanity.

Thanks for your message, Signalsoldier72 - I and I'm sure every other person from the UK reading your message plus all the others messages will  apreciate the solidarity shown by our Friends in the USA and EU countrys. Sig - Guys like you in the armed forces get my vote of thanks any day...

Wednesday I was elated and proud to be British (London being awarded the Olympic Games)

Thursday I was deeply saddened but even more proud to be British (seeing the commaradary and resolve of citizens  in London and strangers helping each other; the famous 'British stiff upper lip'...)

Friday - still saddened, numbed but still proud to be British...

Very sad that this happened when the G8 meeting was for helping those African people... hard to imagine why the terrorists hated that so much... [U]

I was at Heathrow a day before, relieved that nothing happened at the independense day at Miami... very angry how the security was very strict (they opened my luggage etc) but that might have saved it from bombing.

my heart goes with the victims... like someone said, "we're now all from london".

If anyone ever feels the need to restore faith the worlds mankind, I don't think they need to look any farther than right here.
In the last two days as in the days, months and years following 911 it goes without question that the pain of these attacks(and pretty much all acts of terrorism) cannot be discussed among any group without an ignorant interjection condemning the Muslims.
Although it was not the intent. I think Peachy's with it's voices from all over the globe prove that mankind as a people in general do truely love each other.

In a perfect world things like this would not happen but this world is far from perfect. I am thankful for Signal and all of the soldiers like him for fighting for the freedoms we often take for granted.

I share everyones outrage at this latest attack on the good people of London. My prayers go out to those there whom I do not know and to those good friends I do know here.
