One more 90-100 degree and humid day and I swear I'm going to start digging a cave to live in. Given that I live in NY where were used to 6 or 7 feet of snow in the winter. Our winter was more like spring. Could this actually be global warming? What's it going to be next year? 200? OMG I can't take the heat I'm getting out of the kitchen, moving to Antarctica.

Hunter:
Didn't realize until now that you lived here. Shockingly humid last night... out walking/sweating our asses off. We've had our window A/C unit running for almost two weeks straight now. Had to buy two fans to push the air around the railroad apt. After $90 and some alterations, much better.
You could always live with the mole people in the subway tunnels. But seems just as hot underground... at least from the subway platforms. I won't read any more articles about global warming until the agreements/disagreements stop aligning with political parties.

One thing that I have not understood is the reason for those hose-pipe bans in the UK. So, like the last two winters there has not been much rain, OK things happen. But then we have months and months of rain and only today were the last hose-pipe bans lifted! Something tells me that if the english had been in charge over here in this country then we would be underwater now for the last century. Let them hire some dutch engineers to get their water thingy fixed.

was just wondering when peachy18 came to live? I came in 2003, and the site was already up and running for 1-2 years before that? Is it time for some cellebration? or ive missed it already? :D /Jens

There's a 1st time for everything....   First time I hear a Chinese with a terrible accent singing this old folksong....   Could hardly understand a word....   At least he was trying very hard to do his best.

Didn't know Vivaldi was from the Land of the Swedes though. Now that's a thought, swede soup....remind me to invent a recipe.

Give us back our rain! It has rained liked twice here, for ten minutes each over the last two months. All the grass in my lawn is brown. Entire swamps have dried up. Pretty soon I expect the grass will blow away and will be expecting sand storms lol.
