I have no idea.  All I know is it isn't John Cleese, lol

This one is pretty simple.  I don't have the time right now to find anything decent to post.

How about a bridge for a change.  Thanks for the easy one too Pequaboy.  I check this thread all the time but I usually don't have a clue!

I'm not even beginning to try it....  There must be hundreds of those worldwide and almost all are called the "Dragon"

It's not really called that...but it does have a reptilian nickname...and it's closer than you think

Hint: think tropical (and don't let that first picture fool you Devil)

I never actually said it is what you think it is...

Wow..... Ppffffff....   In Dutch we say : "you have put me on the wrong leg..."  Some "amusement park".  It's the "Rode Brug" connecting the islands Java and Sporenburg.  One of the many nice and exceptional pedestrian bridges in that area, which is the former Eastern Amsterdam Harbour, which is now being redeveloped in a rather nice residential area.  Lots of famous international architects.  Things developing so fast over there, sothat today you don't know what will be new tomorrow.  Haven't been there for a while, sothat I even don't know the official name of that bridge.  Knowing the Amsterdammers no doubt it will have had some 'nickname'.   Haven't been able to find a page in English; only in Dutch.

Embarrassed Funky, I never intended to make it so challenging, it just worked out that way. After ZZTops posted the Oakland Bridge, I thought I'd continue the theme. I knew that Holland had many great bridges, so I searched Flickr for Amsterdam bridges and this showed up. One of the Flickr photogs played up the similarity to a roller coaster by deliberately using low angles (see link). That's why I used those descriptions. Despite this, I assumed it was a well known sight to locals and that you would recognize it even from those pics (and remember the unique bent pendants). I figured you'd quickly continue the thread and didn't know it would take so long. So blame a local Dutch shutterbug for the confusion. Smile BTW, the nickname given to it is the Anaconda Bridge, for it's serpentine shape (something else I assumed was common knowledge, but apparently not city-wide.) The "tropical" and "Asia" clues pointed to Borneo Island. Wink
