Why such a dated homepage?

The worst thing about Peachy? The homepage. What a tired old collection of years-old models, some of whom aren't even operating any more. There are galleries of Tawnee Stone from 2003; old galleries of Jordan Capri and others that are well out of their teens by now, but still being pushed as young models. Can't we update? This is 2009, not 2001.

I don't mind some decade old galleries. Having a site that archives and discusses not just present but past models needs to exist. I think pages of former "teen" models is more fitting to this site than 45 year old has beens in the Mature section, but I'm not complaining. (As a 40 something, I love the double standard Hmm)

Indeed, I dont mind the age of some very good galleries. The biggest problem that comes with the age of a link/thumbnail, is that the link dies after a while. Now, there are many dead thumbnails, or thumbnails that redirect you to another site or gallery. That's in my opinion the biggest problem and the reason why the links on Peachy18 should be screened and eventually replaced by up-to date links.

Why not introduce a section for former teen models.. 25+, died or deceased :) It would make browsing easier, it would make modding easier... and if there was an index of which babes have gone to the past section, even the search would be easier.

In reply to the first question.. imo Peachy needs a more up-to-date presentation. The first impression, be it home page or thumbs determines whether some will stay long enough to sign-up or not.

Regarding the thumbs...thumbs stored on freehosts usually have a limited lifetime. Ideally, as was once so in the past, avatars were stored on peachys own server. IF the thumbs of the models are linked to an existing url, and that rl goes down, then the thumb dies. Thumbs don't cost a lot of space, even with a site like this.

Concluding.. a lot of effort goes into updating and moderating this site, but the design, navigation and hosting were left far behind.
