I don't know if anyone else has run into this problem or not, but two straight days now, when I have come to the bbs, my settings have been turned to Portugese as my language and my time zone is set to some other setting.  It also eliminates my email address from my profile.

Anybody have any idea why this may be occuring?

This is caused by Session Leaks....

Happens to you, me and many others.

Changing identities, changes of Peachy18 skin, languages etc etc etc.

It's very annoying.

Sometimes, the server thinks you are another user. If you were viewing a page, the server generates the page based on their settings. It is most obvious when you look in the title and you see someone elses username. More often than not, refreshing gets you yourself back.

Suppose someone is updating their profile information, and at that moment, the server thinks they are someone else. It could, in theory, change the wrong user's profile. I've had my email disappear and theme change, and changing them back fixes things for "a good while".

It has happened that a line in chat appeared with the wrong username...
Posts with the wrong author, I haven't seen yet...

I've never noticed any of the problems you all mentioned but everytime I open my control panel my preference for recieving e-mails changes.

It's never happened to me before, but this morning when I logged on I saw someone ussing MY user name. I don't know if the session leak had been fixed yet or not. If it has its fucked up again. I also ended up using someone elses for a sec.

It's still happening to a lot of - if not all - people....
Usually by hitting 'refresh'-button it's being fixed.

Hopefully with the upgrade next weekend it will be solved.

Did I understand correctly ( I read something in ShoutBox) that somebody else with your screenname CowboyK made a post in one of the boards, which wasn't really yours??
Please clarify, because that would be a novelty. Sofar that didn't yet occur.

I haven't seen one yet but if it happens I'll let you know. I even singed out then looked back and saw I was still logged on.?? the only thing that concerns me is that who ever was using my screen name was talking to someone I often chat with and it wasn't me talking. they didn't seem too conserned about it either.

It's normal that approx. for 1 hour somebody still appears on mainpage as being on-line, inspite of him having logged-out. (nothing to worry about)

It's true that ShoutBox has many glitches. (Probabely because it has been installed later and possibly the different software not being completely compatible).

Sometime type of browser is influencing things as well.

Peachy18 is being installed based on use of IE6+Javascript, because that's still the browser used by approx.80% of Peachy18-users.
