Oksana:
Figures good. But not modified. Are more similar to a draft variant, fast sketches. You use a technique, to make the base forms, and then to cut unnecessary planes, it is used often by sculptors. But also artists. Proportions of a body are not observed, Lines and corners sharp. There are no rotundities in a body. You need to improve the technics. And then you will please us with masterpieces :) PS. At present I study in architectural academy, and often I draw.
Technically, you are right !!
Similar to the drawings of Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt or Vincent Van Gogh - it is usual for artists to make many sketches, attempts to capture the "moment supreme" before deciding which sketch to work out into a masterpiece. As the making of a masterpiece is very time-consuming, many of the sketches never "pass the audition". Hence for every work-of-art there are often 10's maybe 100's of sketches :)
@ Ponch414: Have you tried progressing your drawings beyond the sketch phase? Did you draw your avatar yourself?
@ Oksana: I would love to see some of your drawings here.... ;)
