If she possesses such formidable talent, you're overlooking why she lets Pancho manage her site. The whole existence of Pancho rests on models not possessing the formidable talent to manage technology like PHP, SQL and E-Billing necessary to make a site like that work. Nobody is saying here that a model can't aspire to Linus Torvalds or fork GCC if they so wish, just they better damn well not run IIS on their modelling site if they want that credo.
None of which discounts that Jenya has enough expertise to customise her myspace page. She might well, though I would frankly be impressed.
And she could buy a camera with a timer on it and take her own photo's too. ;)
But yeah, just because someone can do something, doesn't mean they need to do it. My point is, she was hired as a model, you don't have to do it all if you don't want. There's a lot of models who claim to run their own sites etc. None of them do, even if they can. Why, when someone else can deal with all that for you. It's not 'her' site. It's his, she's hired as a face and body only, her name is his and all rights to the imagery is his. He promotes her, handles the day to day running of things, crawls around the affiliate and webmaster forums to try bring in more cash and takes a share of the profits at the end of every month. She may have the talent to build a site and run it. But she may be terrible at the business side of things, that's where it can and usually does fall down. I know I am. I tried the whole "well I can do this, this and this, so I'll setup my own company and do all that too, how hard can it be?", it didn't last long haha. Remember Next Door Nikki, she couldn't take the name with her, it wasn't hers to take. You could see her as simply "the actor portraying the part of.." Next Door Nikki.
All these types of sites work in a similar way, all run off similar templates. The owner spots new talent, hires them, creates a site around the basic template and bingo new model for little cost.
Oh and interestingly, a very large company, the one i work for. Uses Windows hosting, with basic (and old) versions of Microsoft software to maintain its servers and web presence, where the networks are never updated or patched and passwords are either your first name or the name of the company. Now that's scary for a company that big, lol! It's not some two bit operation neither. Chances are if you live in the UK you own one of their products or have in the past. A lot of places are like that, seem well run and well thought out, but behind the scenes its a disaster waiting to be lost in the mail with everyone's personal details on lol.
So I don't really believe that's her myspace page. But I would imagine she does have one, but it would probably be set as private and not so easy to find. And if this is a fake, it's a well made one for a change. Rather than the usual kind that are setup the same day as someone's discovery post and only has Tom on the friends list hahaha. Makes me chuckle when I see those.
Anyway, why am I having a grown up discussion, it's totally out of character for me. Shouldn't I be bitching about how she's due for some hardcore like I normally moan on about? LOL!
