Interesting - 5 days after I e-mailed the company a second time about Lexy's complete disappearance from the scene, I get this:
My name is Chris, and I'm the office manager here. We certainly
understand your frustration right now, but Lexy is merely in a hiatus
situation currently. I know it may be difficult to understand given her
larger than life persona, but Lexy is a human being too. Although she's
worked with us for years now, the recent uptick to a 6 day a week schedule
has led her to request a break, which we've reluctantly (but
enthusiastically where she is concerned) agreed to. We are a very small
company, and we take the health and welfare of our girls very seriously. We
hope and expect Lexy to return soon, but our concern for her well being far
outweighs our concern about the profits we make from her series. I would
hope you'll understand that.
My view: It's nice that they care about Lexy's well-being, but for them to continue to promote her site as though she is still participating in it, still doing updates to her journal, still responsive to e-mails, still doing cam shows, is just flat-out dishonest considering that she's been gone for almost 2 months now. I'll believe that she was only away for a hiatus when she returns. The period between her disappearance from Little Summer's site to her appearance with Lil Laura was years, so that doesn't bode well.
