Hello, I think what you´re doing is much to difficult and takes too much time.
There is a much easier way imho.
First you install ACDSee, you don´t need the newest version (I use version 3.1, which was on a PC World CD for free).
Go to Tools/Options/File List/Visible Items and check: "Show hidden files".
Then: Save settings.
Now choose your Internet Explorer properties, General, look for Temporary Internet Files.
Now change the place of that folder, e.g. to C:\windows\Temporary Internet Files\...
Start ACDSee and go to that folder, right-click and "Find images"
"Find" opens, you check "Include subfolders", now click "Find now"
What you see are thumbnails of the content of all the subfolders here.
You can sort the thumbs by F12, you get a list, click on the top of the row "Size" once ore twice, until you have the biggest files on the top. Pictures are mostly the biggest files in these folders.
You do F8, now you see the thumbs sorted. Delete what you dont like, the copy the rest into a folder you like.
My strategy is, to create a folder with the date of the day, e.g. 20060930, where I copy the pictures to. And don´t collect the files in the Temporary Internet Files folder too long. Maybe you surf half an hour and open lots of pics you see, you may find here 600 pics!
And what happens if you don´t see a single thumb. Now, you open My Computer/Extra/Options... and check: "Hide protected files" or something similiar. (My problem is, that I use a german version of Windows and have to translate some special words. I hope you understand, what I want to say, otherwise ask.)
You only have to do all this once, maybe it seems to be a little bit complicated, but you will see, that you will gain a lot of time afterwards and have much less problems in keeping the pics you´ve found.
Could you understand, what I wanted to describe?
Please tell me what you think about this.
