Anyone know if one is better than the next?  I got Limewire right now, just doing a trial run with it.  I had BearShare for a long time when I was still overseas, and it didn't seem to bog down my computer like Limewire does now.  I heard about folks using "Kaazzaa" and others, so which is best?

LimeWire sucks  !  Lots of bugs and safety-leaks.

The "K" thing is OK !

Thanks for that quick response!  So, can you get the same "stuff" on every network?  I got most of my long porn videos off of the L network and the B.S. network.

If I need something big, like hdtv series & other material, I only look for TO and use AZ to download them. Those are easy to find from sites like TO Spy,  PI Bay and IS Hunt.

But I of course own those all hdtv material, I've got them from US (this time meaning the country).. I just download to make backups. Of course.

Funny, I found the exact opposite.  K-zaa would load a bunch of auxillary programs, while Limewire ran pretty much clean.  Very strange indeed that we had such different experiences.

My apologies Vatsis, but I'm not familiar with your abbreviations.  Does posting the full name violate the rules of the site?  Found that happened when I tried to type K-zaa.  Could you clarify your sources a bit more?

Basically file-sharing etc not allowed here. That's why you ran into that nasty picture when posting full name.

Technical discussion like this one on software experience not a problem.

Thumbs up!

Posting p 2 p is not allowed, since when mentioned on the girls' threads it cannot be used for no other then illegal distribution. But here on surfing tips, it could be used for anything... unless the poster is clearly asking for illegal stuff.

Why I used just a few chars was for making fun this whole idea... only people who know what I mean might understand... but then, they would be already using software/sites that I refered and there was no harm done.

Not sure if I can ask this, but could you elaborate on what TO Spy,  PI Bay and IS Hunt mean, if I was interested in looking into the further.

Well sure I can ask about it.

Just not sure you can answer!  Thumbs up!

Why bother with those, the peers are flaky, downloads take forever to complete, the files are often intentionally misnamed or of low quality, and the software is frequently full of adware and spyware.

My advice:
1. Use bittorrent.  Get a client like azureus or utorrent.  Google it.
- parts #2 and #3 removed, guess why Smile -
