Almost every day for past 6 months I sit on my chair. Not some regular chair but THE chair, the one behind the computer, the most important one... So for the last month its been squeeking, few days ago i bothered to tilt my head to the left a bit to check it out and seeing the squeeky part I realized.. one day its going to break and given the estimated location its gonna break from I'm certain that it is going to hurt.. alot.
Here is a picture to elaborate...

It might break right now, the minute after or the next week.. cool isnt it?

errrrr.... dude... it begs the question; if you know the inevitable is about to happen, why don't you do something about it? Be proactive, not reactive! (or risk serious back and/or neck injury!)

Well, if you work at a government entity, then the chair probably costs $300 even though it was of questionable quality to begin with.  You can't requisition a new one until it breaks beyond all repair or it nearly kills you, then which you will be given a temporary chair until the new one arrives eight months later, which is an even worse chair then the one you started with.  But of course, if this is your chair at home, then why bother going to Office Depot and spending $49 for a nice new leather one?  That money should be going to the Chivas brothers!

and if you do work at a government entity, then let it alone ...
and when it does break, parlay the situation into some major paid-leave and a possible "work at home" contract !!!
