Mr. H

That little ant-redirect script of yours works like a charm. You rock!

Many many thanks!

Firefox uses can get automatic anti redirection with Greasemonkey. When you have Greasemonkey installed go to http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/28491 and install script called pornonauts friend.

You may found some other usefull scripts: http://userscripts.org/scripts/search?q=porn.

[quote user="Hunter27"]   I've been using a simple script myself with firefox. No downloads, no nothing. Just create a new bookmark and paste this script into the location field. Name it what ever you want and put it in your bookmarks toolbar folder for ease of use...

javascript:(function(){var k,x,t,i,j,p; for(k=0;x=document.links[k];k++){t=x.href.replace(/[%]3A/ig,':').replace(/[%]2f/ig,'/');i=t.lastIndexOf('http');if(i>0){ t=t.substring(i); j=t.indexOf('&'); if(j>0)t=t.substring(0,j); p=/https?\:\/\/[^\s]*[^.,;'%22>\s\)\]]/.exec(unescape(t)); if(p) x.href=p[0]; } else if (x.onmouseover&&x.onmouseout){x.onmouseover(); if (window.status && window.status.indexOf('://')!=-1)x.href=window.status; x.onmouseout(); } x.onmouseover=null; x.onmouseout=null; }})();

 Hi,

I am trying this script, but I'm new to Firefox and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. I made a new favorite with your script as 'location' and put it on the favs toolbar. Now do I need to click it when I'm browsing the redirecting page, say a TGP? or do I need to do something else with it? Is there a confirmation that shows if the script is activated?

 Thanks.

There’s no conformation to show if the script worked or not except to hover your mouse over one of the redirecting thumbnails, and look at the address in the lower left corner of firefox.

For example: http://mia-movies.com/

Hovering your mouse over a thumb you should see something like:
http://mia-movies.com/cgi-bin/swiftclicks/out.cgi?g=1&u=http://www.cuteteenvideo.com/movie_previews/jade/tb.html

In this case, and most cases the link goes directly to the hosts server and requests the actual link that was submitted. Mia-movies then decides if it wants to send you back the actual URL or a redirect. If you look, the actual URL is there after g=1&u=

Using the script and clicking the link in the toolbar seems to do nothing at all, however if you hover your mouse over any of the thumbs you’ll find that the middle man has been taken out, leaving only the actual direct links:
http://www.cuteteenvideo.com/movie_previews/jade/tb.html

This will always work as long as you can see the actual address in the URL. Some (fewer) sites use a coded version of the address and the script won‘t work. They look like this:
From http://www.boneprone.com/
http://www.boneprone.com/st/st.php?id=235629&script=1&url=aHR0cDovL2dhbGxlcmllcy5wYXBlcnN0cmVldGNhc2guY29tL2loLzExODAvP25hdHM9Ym9uZXByb25lOlJTOmlodDEsMCwwLDAs&p=

I don’t even waste my time visiting sites that go that far out of there way to mislead you. Anyhow, good luck.

Thanks foryour help! Looks like your script works very well.

I tried a bunch of TGP's and the number of redirected pages suddenly becomes very small!

 Great job on this!

Thanks.

I think what TheWan is looking for is something like those neat bookmarklets. You could just save a short js snipplet as a bookmark. Once clicked it removes the unwanted prefixes from all the links at once. Just works on those tpgs that don't encrypt their links of course.

This is not a matter of the browser you're using. It depends on whether it supports js or not.

Here you'll find the bookmarklet for removing redirects plus a few other neat things.

I hope it works for you!

Woa! I didn't know something like this was possible! Thanks so much! You've made avoiding those nasty re-directs so much easier now. Like you said. Those encoded ones are still gonna bug people, but there's plenty of pages out there that have the same, if not better, stuff with less hassle. Well now it's less hassel anyway. Thanks again!
