* On Christmas Eve of just this past year 2005, a local resident lost control of their vehicle, swerved across oncoming traffic and struck a lone pedestrian on the opposing sidewalk. Upon the arrival of emergency services and local Metro law enforcement two things were immediately discorved. One, the vehicles driver wass completely sober. And two, the pedestrian was carrying no identification. Seriously injured, barely clinging to life the pedestrian was wisked away to the closest trama center and admitted as a John Doe. It was there in the hospital emergency room that the doctors on staff with fast paced skill and perhaps a little Christmas magic were able to save the man's life. With his condition stabilized the pedestrian now however laid in a state of comatose.
Now here we are, some seven and a half months later. The reason the driver lost control of his vehicle remains undetermined and no charges against him were ever pressed. And as for his comatosed victim? Well he's still laying there and still nobody knows who he is. A white male, average weight and height appearing to be of early middle age, no identifing scars or tatoos. Nobody has come looking for him. An exhaustive search through local and F.B.I. missing persons data base has provided no help at all. The man's physical condition and manner of dress at the time of the accident suggest that he was definitley not homeless or a transient.
So if anybody out there is interested. You might want to take a look around and see if you're missing anybody. There's talk that "C.S.I." is considering the story for an upcomiming episode. So who knows? If you claim this guy, maybe you could get a guest shot on the show?
