Where will this be built?

(Because it doesn't exist yet, and has less of a "trail", I'll answer it early tomorrow if no one gets it)

I agree, it is way too derivative. I chose this, not because of the recent tragic news there, but because I thought people might think of the Persian Gulf states, long before India would come to mind. I first saw it weeks ago.

Right city but what's featured in the photo and why be careful there rather than anywhere else ?

@ pedro7:  How about posting the next challenge ?

-------------

In the meantime an easy one (or not).  Name of city sufficient.  Extra bonuspoints for those naming the object in the front...

A former friend from Argentina beat it into to me that it was a dangerous place, in hindsight it kind of ruined the trip, but you're right, it's no more dangerous than where I live now or any other city I've lived or stayed in Europe or Asia.

Wow, this is a good one, nice and hard, just as I like them...Confused

I'm just surprised that no one here recognizes it yet, since it's obviously in a city.

Yep, right in the heart (hint?).

I chose it because I used to live close by and was always in awe of it

Solving this will land you in the right country:

>a drawn out dispute with another nation over the name of a particular product<

I've a feeling (based on architecture of houses on the right) it's somewhere in Eastern Europe.

Think you're hinting on the decades old dispute of who owns the right to use the brandname "Budweisser" beer. If so, it should be somewhere in the Czech Republic.

Angry I knew I should have spent more time looking at Eastern Europe, but the first pic, especially the base, reminded me so much of colonial forts of the 18th century, that I wasted time looking all over North America and even Scandinavia and the Baltic, because of the color scheme. It didn't have the "really" old look of most castles, so I skipped that search term. Smile I should have realized that if it was New World, I would have seen it by now..."In the 18th century Špilberk was transformed into an enormous Baroque fort..." the period I was looking at.

Hmm...does this mean Minger won't pick a castle...or, continue the theme? Confused
