Oh heck its raining again, think change my address to ''soggy south coast''. Flood warnings for coast and inland again tonight, glad i live up a slope. Cheese powder been about for years, but i know Kraft have been pushing it recently. The army ration one at least has some flavour, the kraft one is high fat and not sure it ever saw the inside of a cow!. DVD?, do you mean usb, hey, I had good tan two years back!, (to any other readers, mike takes sneaky photos when your not looking). Treated me today, having probs with my big fingers on tablet, so just bought a generic 'chinese' netbook, that a mini-mouse and a cover ,all for eightypounds, well made, good bright screen, stereo sound, running on 'jellybean 4.2', gonna sit in bed tonight and have a tour around it. Comes from same factory as Toshiba i'm using at mo. Dont you Yanks go looking for one, I gather these are blacklisted in USA, (unfair competition rules?). Tom has 'retired', which is why this side of road is over run with rats, mice, and foxs. First time in fourteen years i've had to resort to poison, and yes the airgun is oiled and ready, just inside shed door. He's 16 now and getting a bit slow, prefers my bed to hunting. Have fun, take an umbrella. Drum

Drum:
Sorry for the random insertion of American weather. I realize this is a thread about the SSC. I'm spending a few days writing, to burn off steam, to take my mind off the hours and hours I've had to spend on the phone trying to get health care. Have you heard about that Obamacare thing? If you've read horror stories, let me reassure you, they're all probably true. Seriously messed up. -gf

Hey Lochsa:

My g/f's parents are in Montana right now... Big Sky. They have a condo there. Haven't talked to them about the recent weather. Big skiers.

We just went to their house in Jersey to dig out their deck so they can use it when they come back. Then it snowed again. Funny.

BTW, my g/f is actually my wife now. So my login should be "wife-is-working." She's amazingly hot. Someone needs to congratulate me, dammit.

It's raining again. I have decided to build an ark to take on board 10 webmates, plus my top favourite 50 female erotic models. There will be a built in navigation device courtesy of US intelligence to find you even if you are 10 feet under water. House pets will be considered. If you have strange diets, then please accompany yourself with appropriate foodstuffs. On board we shall have facilities to build an air-balloon just in case the earth decides to sink under the weight of water. Bring underwear (except if you are female) provisions and some good stories to tell around the stove.

Its friday....and....it aint raining (much?), blue sky, sun and one minute showers??. Mike, 2.8ghz doesnt work underwater, so dont use that for controls  !. Hullo to other side  of pond, post here whenever you like, open board of sorts. Sorta envy you your snow, temp here has stayed above zero. Farmers can't plough n plant, expect all nasty bugs will have survived, only hope slugs have drowned. Oh yeah, and i got frog sex going on in the pond. Bozeman?, havn't heard of there before, expect its nice, most of montana is. I've got hospital in london again next week, so meeting nephew again and introducing him to some of the 'rougher' pubs in south london. see if i've still got any street cred. Little bugger seems to have inherited my booze capacity!. Do a bit of family history at same time, my grandfathers factory still exsists, bout 110years old now. Congrats to gf-is-working, dont mess it up mate, you dont get many chances(thumbs up). Drum

Ok, the doctors say i'm still alive?, somewhere  someone is holding the 'pot', wish i knew who, fancy a bet myself !. Yep, twas a boozy day, quick trip down to the Elephant n Castle area. Concrete Jungle from the 60/70s, bad planning from GLC. Bulldozers about, hope they get it right this time. Holborn next and the Princess Louise, now a 'Sam Smith' pub. Dunno who owns the freehold, but thankyou, for not changing the place, worth a visit just to see the victorian tiling. Drury Lane next and 'The Sun', heck i remember when this place used to open at 6am for  breakfast, good news, its unchanged. Flowers Bitter?, dont see that much now, was good. Along road to the 'Grapes', see if anyone 'famous' about, or just people i know. Pub crawl ended here, I missed my train and got one three hours late. Not often nowadays that i imbibe just one beer, but they now serve 'Brodies', from a small brewers in the east end. Its bloody wonderful !, If your in London, search it out, yeah, ok, ten pints later I dragged both me and slightly wobbly nephew out into rain. Hmm?, grandads factory seems to be being converted into million pound apartments, life is weird. no  rain today, due tomorrow. Signs of Spring, even more frogs in pond, watched ducks pairing off at park, then transferring to stream, that means by end of week they'll be in my garden having sex, dont know why, every year they come to the same spot, ducksex is noisy!!. Greater Crested Newt has appeared as well, no sign of female yet. Wrens nesting, blackbirds building, rooks everywhere. yep its spring. hope weather improves worldwide. Drum

Looks like things are slowing down at good ol' Peachy!! (or maybe the mods don't post as much as they used to?) Lazy day here, growing chairs, cooking something to warm up next week soon. Prolly carrot souffle. You should write a book... "50 famous London pub-crawls by yours truly". Boris needs a haircut. Got any spare duck tits? How's the garden extension going? I got stuck halfway up a nasty rusty 12 meter spiral staircase during work a few days ago... never used to be scared of heights... ugh. 30 year old warehouse a few football fields in size, with no repairs ever done. Did someone say CeX? Surveying properties for them here now. YG back online after about 2 months, hmmm... not spoken yet. C here, op next week, don't ask. Back later....

so gonna change to ''mike-op19'' ?. yep first real signs of spring, temp up to 20c yesterday, still putting off desludging two ponds, but got aeration going again. Drive full of paving slabs and blocks, i'm gonna tame back garden this year. Might even get railtrack built!. CeX?, aint that explosive ?. Ooops, ignore first sentence, penny just dropped. Yep, dear old peachy gone slow again, gotta remember we lost Funky, that made heck of difference. Couple of mods seem to spend lot of time doing what  they are supposed to do....moderation, and thank you to them. Think you have to look also at what is being released and published at present. For many there are no new fav models to follow, as was the case ten or fifteen years ago, Though I notice some of those are being 're-released'  as brand new 18 year olds?, such is the market. The 'blogosphere' has changed the net as well, want anything without joining or paying ?, check out the blogs. As  everyone knows, I've always been a 'linksurfer' just follow see where it goes type of thing. Once you learn how to 'decode' anything can be found. I find it quite amusing, seeing how bloggers will try to post banned/illegal stuff and get round hosts rules, then watch as uploads disapear in front of your eyes when host finds them. Must ask this?....why is the nastiest-most violent crap, posted often by very young girls?. Thats it, lunch eaten, potting bench calling. Drum

Thank you Donkey, Loscha and Drum.

Bozeman was where my parents moved right after they got married in the 60's. Many times, my dad has told me about the time he almost drowned in the Gallatin River while fishing. Something to do with frigid water getting into his boots and totally numbing his legs. The details vary depending on his mood and who's listening to the story. They loved Yellowstone.

My new inlaws are really chill. They've invited me to Big Sky, but I haven't been able to go yet. I do have a growing collection of warm clothing though, thanks to living in NYC. It came in handy this winter... I was bundled up and walking around Manhattan in 8-degree weather (-13C), and wasn't bothered at all.

I've only been to Montana once. Fantastic, massively wide, panoramic views. If you've heard the joke, yeah, you really can see your dog run away for three days. My friend and I made a loop around a good chunk of America (6,500 mi/10,000+ km) and hit the state during the "Great Flood of 1993."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flood_of_1993

We hit the flood the first time on Interstate 94 eastbound... one of the darkest skies I've ever seen... lots of hail and crazy wind... for a while, we thought we weren't going to make it out intact. We hit the flood the second time on Interstate 70 in the St. Louis area westbound... the Mississippi River there was close to 20 feet above flood stage. We saw water almost covering the tops of nearby stop signs, and it was lapping up at the sides of the highway. We were amazed they were letting people drive through.

OK, enough babbling.

Listening to Frank Zappa.. "Going to Montana" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmcYTShN4Fk  Gonna be a dental floss tycoon?

Galitsin River? hmmm.... rings another bell. Floods... hire the dutch. Best dam builders in the world.

On a more serious note, bit down and out right now... dad just died, putting thoughts to rest. I guess I shall inherit his David Hamilton book. Just wondering who shall take care of the garden.

Thinking of taking longboat in middle-earth before descending to SSC in summer. Maybe grabbing week in EKB sometime soon.

SSC getting ready for the visiting Mike_op18, Well assume thats the reason for building arch on cliff, and cleaning the place up?. Dad had a DH book?, that explains alot !!. Drum

Eventually we shall forget everything. The United States of Amnesia. Yeah dad's DH book, the one I snuck a peek at when I could. I fight with the handle of my little brown broom, I fight for the crust of the little brown loaf.. I want it I want it I want it give it to me... (R.Wyatt). Pouring cement on Monday, up at five, 1,5 hours drive....  painting on roof today, maybe morrow. Got safety gear, absailed down after job finished. Holidays soon...

Tried scots eggs today, went down well.. cats liked 'em. What say.. Desperado or Grolsch Kanon? Meethinks the former this time. Lemme know any EU goodies you might require ;)

Scotch Eggs, yeah i often have with salad for lunch. Dear old Jerrycat used to get the left over ones from pub. Me like Kanon!!. Lots of 'Innis & Gunn' bottles sitting here with your name on them, unless you leave behind like last year?. The Trienial starts week you arrive, must get a programme to see what you are not allowed to see!, remember last year ?, missing the bodypainting. Wots this?, you reading old bullshit wyatt, hope had drink first. Spent sunday morning watching about a thousand girls wearing pink running along the cliff top, ''Race for Life'' in aid of cancer research, cheer on a few that use same gym as me, and yeah ogle the rest. Next ones the ten miler along the seafront, expect i'll get there, one year might remember to take camera!. So its summer?, that means the music festivals have begun. Ok, I dont get to the big ones. But heres couple of good old bands seen recently, just google them, 'PARADOX', and 'BITTEN BY MONKEYS', ok not front liners, but good fun. Paradox are load of guys who havnt realised that they're approaching middle age, good covers and their own stuff aint bad either. Only thing to complain about was the venues ''professional sound engineneer'', quite good fun watching managers and guitar players threatening him. Guy had no idea at all bout mixing. Noticed theres this World Cup thingy goin on, nice to see the flatlands doin well. Drum
