And Minger...your icon:  Is that Marty Feldman in "Adventures of Sherlock Holmes Smarter Brother?"  Brilliant scene, that is, with the giant saw blade...

Thumbs up!  The one and only!

It's pretty obviou, isn't it?  To the point where I wonder whether two posters seem to have already gotten it.  Just to finish it off...

OK...it was founded by some shrewd fur traders Wink (North America)

I thought one of the U.S. or Canadian members might see this and get it immediately

Northwestern United States. Lake resort. Mountains and skiing. French name.

When you see the name, you'll get the "Come on Eileen" clue

Forgive me, this town is probably better known here. It was even featured on a national morning show once for its beautiful downtown Christmas lights. Smile

This picture should help too--if you know Francais. Wink

Luckily googling "nortwest resort christmas lights" returns Cœur D'Alene. I must have just missed noticing the Christmas lights in the photo.Help!

Taking the portrait of King Richard I, aka 'the Lionheart' gets you the French 'Coeur de Leon'. Your 'Come on Eileen' rhyme would just about make sense to me after a few beers yes. Drunk
