They were clues that validate the answer instead of leading one to the answer. Oh well.

Here are two shots of a bridge, as I couldn't find a single photo I liked. Clue comes tomorrow.

You're right. I have to think through some of my clues better.

Although, Funky did get my Madison, Indiana one without much trouble, and Coeur d'Alene is more prominent, so I thought it would be much easier than a small town on a river that gets no publicity at all.

As for the song, I was referring to the Eileen = Alene (near) homynym, rather than Come = Coeur.

The Richard, Coeur de Lion would have gone well with the first pic, assuming anyone had heard of CDA.

Speaking of bridges...

What is the name of this bridge, and where in the world is it?

The size of the river looks right, the background looks right, I haven't been there in 15 years, but if I'm right, it's just down the road from one of my favorite places, Beaver Liquors. So is it.......?

From the world's shortest name for a bridge, to perhaps the longest. I'll let it stand for now since I have no replacement photo!Thumbs up!

Did you do some soul-searching to come up with that answer?  I still don't see a definitive answer...

OK...it's not too far from one of the other posts Purple Elephant

it's not in Europe (or near)...that narrows it down Wink

I called it a "castle" not because it is, but it might help a search

and Minger, you actually have an edge in solving this (hint)

Another clue: think rap music--but not for long Spanked!

Suppose it's either a replica or a rebuilt English mansion somewhere in the Northeastern US.  But I'm still in the dark...

Nothing else left to do then congratulating Seablonde with 1K posts and Minger with 0.5K posts....

From the clues, perhaps this is a mansion of a rapper who's now broke and either faced or is facing foreclosure? What did M.C. Hammer's mansion look like? Or perhaps "castle" is a part of the name or group? Other than that I got nothing. And not even an interesting post count.
