Mod How-To's
Joining Threads
Step 1: Go to the first post of the unwanted thread. Click the wrench. Click "Join." The "Join Thread" window will appear.
Step 2: Open a new browser tab. Find the thread you want to keep and go to the last post. Click on the upside-down pyramid and you'll see "Report User." Hover your mouse over "Report User," but DON'T click on it. You'll see a link appear on the lower-left side of your brower. Note the number, which should be seven digits.
Step 3: Go back to the original tab with the "Join Thread" window. Type the seven-digit number into the "Post ID" box. Click "Find Thread ID." The thread you want to keep will appear next to the words "will be appended to." Note the box that is automatically checked next to "Send subscribers email..." You'll normally want to keep that checked. Click "Merge Topics."
Moving Threads
Look to the bottom-right of the post you want moved. Click the wrench. Click "Move." The "Move Thread" window will appear. Pick a target folder. Note the box that's automatically checked next to "Send subscribers email..." You'll normally want to keep that checked. Click "Move Topic(s)."
Use your best judgement on when to move a locked thread. If an ID request was just solved, you might want to leave it alone for a while so other members can learn the model's name. Locked threads end up here after they are moved:

Deleting Posts
Your power is most noticeable here, and it can be a source of frustration for members. Think of deletion as a last resort, mainly for members who are abusing the forum with off-topic s-p-a-m. Even for that, you can always "Move" the post to the Reporting Forum so the admins take notice.
When you delete a post, you should send the author a delete notification and enter a reason. Remember that you can always edit a post instead; remove the unwanted parts and give a reason for your edit. You can lock the thread if needed.
To delete a post: Look to the bottom-right of the post you want deleted. Click the wrench. Click "Delete." The "Delete Post" window will appear. If the post is the first in a thread, you'll get the option of removing all the posts ("children") below it. Choose if you want to "Send author delete notification." Choose a reason under "Reason Template." If you don't want to use a template, type your reason below. Click "Delete Post."
Deleted posts end up here:

Editing a Post
Look to the bottom-right of the post you want to edit. Click the wrench. Click "Edit Post." The "Edit an Existing Message" window will appear. Make your changes. If the post is the first in a thread, you'll also be able to edit the subject. You can leave the "Edit Notes" box blank if you want to, but keep any information you see in "Current Edit Notes." Click "Post."
There is still no consensus on how mods should edit posts. Do you just add a link to the rules? Do you use a friendly tone or do you chastise the member? Do you make it clear that some of the words in the post are coming from a mod? Until there's an agreement, use your best judgment.
Editing a Subject
DO NOT change subject/titles of "Archive" threads. It messes with the server database.
Details here are very important, for both the site layout and for search engines. You'll normally want to edit subjects when:
--You find a typo.
--A member puts a link in the subject line.
--A member requests an ID for a model who has no existing thread. You can turn the ID into a model thread just by changing the subject line.
--You want to add an alias to a current model thread.
Formatting Example:
Monika Voss / Marina (TeenSexMania) / Milena (WeAreHairy) / Simona (ATK-Hairy) / Mara T (Femjoy)
There are single spaces between the forward slashes for formatting reasons. There is a dash between "ATK" and "Hairy" because the website address also includes a dash. There are no spaces or dashes in "TeenSexMania" and "WeAreHairy" to make them similar to the website addresses.
If a model keeps her name across several sites, you do NOT need to add her name multiple times. Instead:
Tess Lyndon (Nublies / Watch4Beauty / Karups PC / EvasGarden)
Locking / Unlocking a Thread
Look to the bottom-right of the post you want locked. Click the wrench. Click "Lock." You'll see the page flash or jump to the top. To see the red "Locked" icon, you'll have to refresh the page.
Locked topics end up here after a mod moves them:

Splitting Posts
Look to the bottom-right of the post you want to split away from the thread. Click the wrench. Click "Split Posts." The "Split Thread" page will appear. Pick a new subject line and choose where you want post to go. The "Send Subscribers Email" box will already be checked. Click "Split Topic."
Note: Under the subject line, you'll see "Has Replies." If it says "No," any lower posts in the thread will NOT attach themselves during your split. You'll have to move any of those lower posts individually.
